Last month in my rant about Nirvana (which I’m sure all of you read because otherwise why the hell am I wasting my time writing this crap???) I came to the conclusion that I wasn’t the biggest fan of Kurt Cobain and those other guys. But when it comes to Cobain’s widow Courtney Love, that’s a whole different story. Sure, her music sucks, but everything else that comes out of her mouth kicks more ass than Jean Claude Van Damme!
So when I heard Love is releasing her memoir on December 15, I decided to lift my ban on reading. Actually, I’ll probably just listen to the audio book. Why should I read when I don’t have to, amirite???
Courtney’s definitely been around the block if you know what I mean. Aside from being a former stripper (nice!), Love loves to rage hard and I’m sure she has plenty of battle stories about long nights out pounding apple juice.
Beyond being a lunatic, Courtney has other skills which I’m sure she’ll write about. I have to admit, Love’s acting skills aren’t terrible. If you haven’t seen her get messed up in “The People vs. Larry Flynt,” you’re missing out punk!
And Tina, I just want to be clear: I enjoy that movie because of its stance on free speech, not because of anything else!!!
