After watching Kanye;s awful music video for “Bound 2,” I thought I’d take a little break from music videos, just to collect myself from the utter disaster that was that video from a supposed “genius.” I love you Kanye, but that one was just a head scratcher for me. It was just very unambitious and boring. Of course, just a couple of hours ago, Pharrell released what could be one of the most ambitious music videos to date. I would give you a full review seeing that it came out a few hours ago, but I wouldn’t be able to finish it. Literally.
Pharrell decided to shake up the game by releasing a 24 HOUR music video. Yep. You read that right. It’ll take you a whole day to finish this sucker. Whew. But, is anyone actually going to sit there and watch an entire 24 hour music video? That’s like playing a video game and sitting through a 24 hour cutscene. I mean it’s cool, but I’ve got other things to do as well. Pharrell knew this and found a way to fix this issue and it’s awesome.
The music video starts at whatever time you watch it! Whether it’s 4 PM in the afternoon after a long day of watching anime or 6 AM in the morning, there’s always a different scene going on! (You can even cheat and go to different times of the day!) This is definitely something to check out!
