It’s always been a dream of mine 2 visit Sesame Street but I can never figure how 2 get there! Lucky for Macklemore and Ed Sheeran, they were able to find directions and got 2 hang out with Cookie Monster and the rest of the Sesame Street gang!

Soooooo jealous!!!!

Billboard was able 2 get an exclusive sneak peek of Ed and Macklemore’s visit. Apparently Macklemore (who will go by the name Mucklemore on the show) and Oscar the Grouch will team up on a reinterpretation of “Thrift Shop” that focuses on recycling. I guess Ryan Lewis got lost on the way there.

“I think it’s every rapper’s dream to make it on Sesame Street,” said Macklemore. Every rapper? More like every human being!

Ed Sheeran decided to write an original song for the show which I can’t wait 2 hear!

Unfortunately, Sesame Street films an entire year ahead of the show’s air date, so Ed and Macklemore’s episodes won’t air until next September. Awwww!

Luckily, the nice people at Billboard were able to capture some behind the scenes footage of their visit that’s definitely worth checking out!!
