Finally, some actually country music news to report!!! The first wave of performers for the 2013 Country Music Association Awards have been announced and hoo-boy are we in for a treat.

Yes, Taylor Swift will be singing her pretty little perputally broken heart out, but there’s so much more in store. I’m talking about performances from Keith Urban, Jason Aldean, Tim McGraw, and Luke Bryan. Plus Blake Shelton and his beautiful wife Miranda Lambert will be taking the stage. Fingers crossed for a husband-wife duet!

The awards will take place in Nashville on November 6 with hosts Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley. You can check out the full list of nominees here. Aside from the Youtube Music Awards (of course) this could very well be the music event of the year!
