Garth Got More Love Than Gaga Over Thanksgiving!

No matter how long he’s been out of the spotlight, people will always continue to love Garth Brooks. Case in point: the best selling country artist of all time had the most watched TV show on Friday, earning 8.7 million pairs of eyeballs for his special “Garth Brooks: Live From Las Vegas.”

Even though people were stuffed after Thanksgiving, they made sure to leave some room the next night for a side of Garth!

Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for Lady Gaga’s Thanksgiving night special. Despite Scene’s enthusiasm, “Lady Gaga & The Muppets” only managed to scrounge up 3.6 million, coming in a disappointing 10th for the night.

It’s been a relatively tough time for Mother Monster as of late. Even though ARTPOP debuted at the top of the Billboard 200, sales plummeted 82 percent in its second week, with the album dropping all the way to number 8.

Gaga continues to push hard for the struggling ARTPOP, but nothing seems to be working. Garth, meanwhile, appears to have a new lease on life. With a comeback slated for next year, expect huge things from the country superstar in 2014!

Maybe Gaga should consider a country album. Hey, it worked for Hootie!
