Lemmy’s Heart Takes a Lickin’, Keeps on Tickin’

Few people if any kick more ass than Lenny Kilmister. But decades of hard partying are finally starting to take their toll on the Motörhead frontman and bassist who was recently fitted with pacemaker and continues to deal with diabetes. This is why you should stick to the apple juice, kids!

As a result of Lemmy’s declining health, Motörhead was forced to postpone their European tour until early next year. Lemmy, of course, is not thrilled.

“I just feel really down.” Lemmy recently told “The New York Times.” “I’m paying for all the good times, I suppose. It’s a mixture of all the things I ever did — and I did plenty.” I bet you did, Lemmy, I bet you did.

Motörhead were supposed to tour in support of their recently released 21st (yeah, 21st!) album Aftershock which is definitely one the rageiest releases of the year. Regardless what Lemmy’s going through health-wise, Motörhead still sounds as killer as ever.

Don’t believe me? Check this out.

Lemmy’s one of the toughest guys in metal so I’m sure he’ll bounce back soon. Once Motörhead is done making up those European shows, hopefully they’ll make their way to the U.S. ’cause I’m do for a major headbanging session.
