Daily Roundup: ‘The Voice’ wins Emmy, returns tonight!

[VIA IDOL] Fresh off it’s Emmy win for best reality show competition series (“Amazing Survival Bachelorette Millionaire” was robbed!!!) “The Voice” kicks off its fifth season tonight with the show’s original judging lineup! Thank G! Sorry, Shakira and Usher but you are no Christina and Cee Lo! Well maybe if Usher shaved his head, gained a lot of weight, cut off his legs at his knees and sucked a lot of helium he could be like Cee-Lo. But I wouldn’t advise that. [Variety]

In sad Emmy news, the late Cory Monteith was honored by his “Glee” co-star Jane Lynch’s during a touching tribute at last night’s ceremony. You continue to be missed, Cory! [USAToday]

[VIA TECHNO & DUBSTEP] Stop what you’re doing (unless you’re dancing) and go check out Zedd’s just released video for “Stay the Night” featuring Haley Williams. It’s Scene tested, T&D approved. [YouTube]

Mumford & Sons announced they will be taking “a considerable amount of time off.” Take all the time you need, boys. We will wait, we will wait for you. [EW]

Katy Perry will be headlining a charity show at the Hollywood Bowl that will also feature Tegan Sara, Ellie Goulding, and Sara Barielles. The concert will benefit the Young Survival Coalition, which assists young women with breast cancer. Girl power! [CBS]
