Youtube Spotlight: There are None Like Joshua!

Calling all Nerdfighters, rap enthusiasts, EDM fans, and everyone in between! Get your mice ready to click another subscribe button because I’ve got a new, extremely dope rapper you guys have to listen to! Josh aka None Like Joshua is a rapper/producer from Atlanta, GA who blends hip-hop with EDM, making anything from glitch-hop and rip-hop to neurohop and other hops I didn’t even know existed! With so many hip hop genres under his belt, I guess you can say this guy’s a rapping Ditto! That is if Ditto could say anything besides…..well, Ditto.

None Like Joshua has been uploading his rap videos since 2009 and over his two channels, None Like Joshua and None Like Joshua Music (both of which you should subscribe to RIGHT. NOW.) he’s amassed nearly 90,000 subscribers and over 10 million views. After listening to his music, it boggles my mind why he doesn’t have millions of subscribers! He’s that good! Believe it!

None Like Joshua’s music ranges from remixing songs from famous artists such as Bass Nectar and Skrillex, original content, and, my favorite, rapping over video game and anime remixes. I can barely hold in my nerdgasms writing about them! Here’s the shortlist of some of the video game and anime music he raps over: Assasins Creed, Mortal Kombat, Legend of Korra, Pokemon, Sonic The Hedgehog, Afro Samurai, Street Fighter, Kingdom Hearts, and Dragonball Z. AND THAT’S JUST THE SHORTLIST! His most viral video is this awesome remix to Lost in The Woods from Ocarina of Time that got over 1.2 million views!

The best part has gotta be when he gives a Nerdcore shout out at the beginning of the video! YEAH BOY!!!! I showed this to Techno and Dubstep, and they’ve been playing his music all day. Literally, all day. Can’t complain though. Listening to video game raps for that long sounds like a perfect time for me. None Like Joshua has some great content across his channels, so find some time in your busy days to take his songs out for a spin. Make sure to share your love on his Twitter, and don’t forget to let him know you read about him the MyMusic blog. Nerdcore out!
