No Wii U love in the UK?

Whoa! Is Wii U really doing that bad?

Asda, one of the biggest supermarket chains in the UK, is no longer stocking the Wii U. Nobody is really saying why, and Nintendo hasn’t commented, but they’ll still be selling Wii U and select games online. Interestingly enough, Asda is still taking pre-orders for XBox One and PS 4.

Meanwhile Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata is taking the blame for low Wii U sales, saying they didn’t have a good marketing plan and consumers still don’t fully understand what the Wii U is capable of.

You’re right about that, Iwata. I’m a hardcore gamer, I own a Wii U, and I have NO IDEA what’s supposed to be so exciting about it.

WHAT DO YOU THINK?
