Behemoth Premieres A New Song

Don’t get too excited, though. Behemoth’s new album The Satanist won’t be coming out until next year, but in the meantime, they’re doing what they can to hold fans over.

Woah. His hair’s got serious anger and awesome issues.

The Satanist is the follow up to 2009’s Evangelion, and fans at last weekend’s Brutal Assault festival in the Czech Republic. The song is titled “Blow Your Trumpet Gabriel,” and it was only a matter of time before it showed up on YouTube for the rest of the world to enjoy.   Sources say that the song actually debuted the day before, at a festival in Sweden.

Ahhhhhh. My personal Mecca. The mosh pit.

Behemoth is one of my favorite death metal bands, but of course they can’t come close to how I feel about Gorgol.  It’s great to see Behemoth back in the limelight, and to see Nergal doing so well after his bone marrow transplant a few years ago, when he was diagnosed with Leukemia.

Behemoth was originally intended to perform at Mayhem this year, but had to drop when Inferno needed emergency appendix surgery. I wonder if they would have debuted the new song there if they had ended up performing at Mayhem.

WHAT DO YOU THINK?
