Apparently the Major League Baseball organization is currently holding their “World Series” competition, which is certainly an odd name considering the league consists of teams from only two countries.

While I have no interest in either the Cardinals of St. Louis or the Red Sox (learn to spell!) of Boston, I was delighted to come across this video of the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the St. Louis Symphony using the World Series as an opportunity to represent their respective cities in a musical competition.

The winner: EVERYONE, for we are all enriched by the audible delight that is classical musical.
