Billboard released it’s list of the highest grossing tours of 2013 and I have to be honest, I was pretty grossed out by the results.

I mean, half of the artists on the list have been around since before I was born! How lame is that? Let’s start with the top touring band of 2013, Bon Jovi, who earned $205,158,370.

Huh? People still like Bon Jovi? I don’t know anyone who listens to them. In fact, my dad might just hate them more than any other band. He’d rather go back to that poker game then go to one of their concerts.

Number two on the list is some Michael Jackson Cirque du Soleil which honestly shouldn’t even count. Then there’s Pink (yes!) followed by another old person, Bruce Springsteen. Isn’t that guy, like, 80?

For some reason One Direction is all the way down at number 12 behind a guy named Roger Waters. I didn’t know who he was so I looked him up and apparently his band totally ripped off Pink!

It’s crazy that 1D aren’t at the top of the list considering how amazing their live shows are. I mean I’ve probably watched Up All Night at least 47 times and their tour this year was even better!

Clearly young people needs to start going to more concerts and support the artists that really matter!
