What is sure never to be a holiday classic, Christmas on Mars, the weirdo 2008 movie from The Flaming Lips is currently streaming online for the very first time.

Written and directed by Lips frontman Wayne Coyne, the film has something to do with crazy stuff happening on Mars during Christmas, but who really knows? It’s strange and surreal with a solid soundtrack, everything you’d expect from a Flaming Lips Christmas movie.

Aside from members of the band, the film also features Modest Mouse frontman Issac Brock, “Joey” star Adam Goldberg, and anti-hipster Fred Armisen.

If you’re sick of Rudolph and Frosty and appreciate bands that sell their albums with full-sized chocolate skulls, Christmas on Mars might just be for you. But hurry, the movie will only be streaming today.
