Reunited Hey Hey: 5 BEST REUNIONS OF 2013!!!

Last week the staff offered their picks for the five worst breakups of all time between two musicians. This time around they decided to be more positive, offering their favorite band reunions of 2013. If you’re worried that Mumford & Sons will never ever get back together or a certain MyMusic staff member might not return, keep the faith! Although to be honest, as far as the latter, it might be a lost cause … thanks a lot Indie!!!

Idol’s Pick: ‘N Sync

Even though Miley’s twerking stole the spotlight, the undisputed highlight of the VMAs (and possibly the year!) was when Justin TImberlake got back together with those other people he used to sing and dance with when he was in ‘N Sync. It was so amazing to say hi hi hi one more time to the 1D of the ’90s!

Indie’s Pick: The Replacements

Hey, remember back in season 1 of MyMusic when I made a reference to Bob Stinson? You know, the guy you’ve definitely never heard of? Well,Mr. Stinson used to be a member (rest in peace) of this group called The Replacements that were around before you were born. They produced some of the most important albums of the ’80s (start with Let It Be) and after a 22 year hiatus, ‘Mats lead singer Paul Westerberg and bassist Tommy Stinson finally reunited last month. Huzzah!

Metal’s Pick: Black Sabbath

I get it. Sabbath without Bill Ward is not truly Sabbath. But some Sabbath is better than no Sabbath, amirite??? Plus 13, the first Ozzy Sabbath album since the freakin’ ’70s rocked pretty damn hard. Yeah, I hope Bill Ward comes back home. But in the meantime, I’ll take what I can get.

Intern 2’s Pick: Wu Tang Clan

Since Hip Hop isn’t here and I couldn’t really care less about this list, I decided to post on his behalf. Before his departure Hip Hop shared his excitement for the reunion of the Wu Tang Clan, which I wrongly assumed to be an old time Chinese family band. In hindsight, it was rather silly that I would make that assumption. It turns out that Wu Tang Clan is actually a vulgar rap group. They even had a member, now deceased, named, I kid you not, Ol’ Dirty Bastard. Jeez Louise. Suffice to say I will never be associating with these hooligans again.

Scene’s Pick: Fall Out Boy

FALL OUT BOY!!! FALL OUT BOY!!! FALL OUT BOY!!! FALL OUT BOY!!! FALL OUT BOY!!! FALL OUT BOY!!! FALL OUT BOY!!! FALL OUT BOY!!! FALL OUT BOY!!! FALL OUT BOY!!! FALL OUT BOY!!! FALL OUT BOY!!! FALL OUT BOY!!! FALL OUT BOY!!! FALL OUT BOY!!! FALL OUT BOY!!! FALL OUT BOY!!! FALL OUT BOY!!! FALL OUT BOY!!! IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!
