Sad news to report: after Haim’s appearance last weekend on “Saturday Night Live” they are officially mainstream.

So in honor of their passing to the darkside, I wanted to pay tribute to one of my favorite quirks of the band, Este Haim’s bass face. If you ever had the chance to watch Haim perform live you probably noticed sister Este’s engrossing facial gestures while she jams out on her bass.

It’s certainly a pleasure to watch and I’m saddened I can never enjoy the spectacle again now that the band is way too popular. Godspeed, Haim.
