Fever The Ghost was the obvious choice for this week’s “Hear Them Now” pick. First of all, they sound great on my walkman, Of course, they’re not mainstream, And I was just visited by ghosts. So there’s that.

But this isn’t about me, this is about Casper Andrizzo, Bobby Victor, Nicolas Overhauser and Mason Rothschild, the four wonderfully named, supremely talented members of Fever The Ghost. Hailing from Los Angeles, the band jams out with some old school bluesy psychedelic Nuggets-era goodness. Or, to put it in more recent terms, their sound is reminiscent of The Black Keys before they sold out. Only Fever the Ghost is far superior.

While the band has only been together for a few months, they recently earned a well deserve record contract with Complicated Game, home of The Cure and David Lynch.  Yes, kids,THE David Lynch.

Obviously they are in good company.
